Sonata for Alto Saxophone and Piano *

* Création / World premiere

As I envision the Sonata now, the piece will be a one-movement, large scale work along the lines of Franz Liszt's Sonata in B minor for Piano. My initial sketches of the work use a language similar to that used in my concerto, and the overall mood of the piece is leaning toward that of spiritual reflection and exploration. (Kirk O'Riordan)
