The Millennium Quartet was established in 1998 at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The group is comprised of graduate and undergraduate saxophone students of Debra Richtmeyer. The Millennium Quartet performed at the 1999 Region V North American Saxophone Alliance Conference and were semifinalists at the 1999 Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition.
