The Kenneth Fischer Saxophone Quartet members are:

Kenneth Fischer, Professor of Saxophone at the University of Georgia School of Music (USA), was awarded the Doctor of Music Degree With Distinction in Saxophone Performance from Indiana University. His teachers have included Dr. Eugene Rousseau and Dr. Larry Teal, Dr. Fischer has appeared as clinician, soloist, and chamber musician throughout the United States, Canada, Germany, France, Japan, Italy, and Spain and has performed as a soloist at numerous meetings of the World Saxophone Congress and the North American Saxophone Alliance. In 1985 he presented a recital of music for the soprano saxophone at the Eighth International Saxophone Symposium sponsored by the United States Navy Band, Washington, D.C.

John Bleuel, Instructor of Saxophone at the State University of West Georgia, was awarded the Doctor of Musical Arts Degree in Saxophone Performance from the University of Georgia, Carrollton, Georgia, USA, studying with Dr. Kenneth Fischer. He received the Bachelor of Music Degree in Saxophone Performance from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and the Master of Music Degree in Wind Conducting from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

John has performed throughout the United States and Europe as a soloist and chamber musician. His solo appearances include the XIth World Saucophone Congress meeting held in Valencia, Spain; the College Music Society International Conferences, held in Austria and Japan, and the 1998 National conference of the North American Saxophone Alliance, held at Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois, USA. In addition, John has appeared throughout the United states at various meetings of the North American Saxophone Alliance.

Jennifer Turpen, was awarded the Bachelor of Music Degree in 1996 from the Crane School of Music-State University of New York, Potsdam, New York. In the spring of 1998 she completed the Master of Music Degree in saxophone Performance at the University of Georgia School of Music, Athens, Georgia, USA. Currently, Jennifer is pursuing the doctor of Musical Arts Degree in Saxophone Performance at the University of Georgia School of Music, studying with Dr. Kenneth Fischer. Ms. Turpen is an active soloist and chamber musician. Her performances include appearances at the 1998 National Conference of the North American Saxophone Alliance, held at Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois, USA.

J. Scott Turpen, Instructor of Saxophone and Director of Jazz Studies at Mercer University, Macon, Georgia, USA, was awarded the Doctor of Musical arts Degree in Saxophone Performance from the University of Georgia School of Music in the Spring of 1999, studying with Dr. Kenneth Fischer. Scott was awarded the Bachelor of Music Degree from Boise State University, Boise, Idaho and the Master of Music Degree in Woodwind Performance from the University of Georgia. He is equally at home in the areas of classical and jazz music. Scott has appeared as soloist and chamber musician at the XIth World Saxophone Congress, held in Valencia, Spain; and, the 1998 National conference of the North American Saxophone Alliance, held at Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois, USA.
