Albescence explores chromatic harmony and dissonant counterpoint to create a dramatic effect. Albescence means shading into white – this is echoed in the music.

Elizabeth Smith explores an interest in virtuosity, aural and visual experience. Written for Adelaide Institute Connection, this piece is named after a missing friend who's energy is reminiscent in this work.

Four Sax explores the use of time frames, improvisation and cells.
