Timothy Robert Crowley

Timothy Robert Crowley composes music in a variety of media, but is primarily interested in creating works involving live electronic/computer performance, interactive computer music, and digital sound synthesis. His works have been performed throughout the United States at major conferences, universities, and music festivals including ICMC and SEAMUS conferences.

Dr. Crowley teaches courses in music theory, composition, and electronic music at Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma. He serves as coordinator of the music theory area and is the founder and director of the Cameron University Computer Music and CAI studios.

Prior to his appointment at Cameron University, he was Visiting Assistant Professor of Music Technology at Texas A & M University in College Station, Texas. He received his Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) degree in music composition from the University of North Texas in 1995 where he served on the staff of the Center for Experimental Music and Intermedia (CEMI) for three years. Dr. Crowley's works are published by BOK Press and JOMAR Press.
